Citation flows among the five focus journals are shown in orange. From left to right, other disciplines are: mathematics and life sciences (blue), mathematics (red), life sciences (green), multidisciplinary (purple), STEM and life sciences (yellow), and other (grey). The figure notably reflects that mathematical oncology inspires both life sciences and mathematics.
