Description: MOLAB is based at the departments of Mathematics of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the University of Cádiz, Spain. We use a variety of tools from applied mathematics, including differential equations, discrete stochastic models, statistical and data-analysis techniques, artificial intelligence, etc. Our goal is to answer compelling questions in medicine with a focus on oncology. The group is highly multidisciplinary with applied scientists complementing researchers with a more mathematical profile. We collaborate with more than 40 hospitals and biomedical research centers either by leading clinical studies or by integrating into existing initiatives to provide computational and data analysis support.
